This time I was curious about sharing my thoughts and ideas with a new group of people I work with. It was 8th challenge, but anyway.
We were discussing how should we prepare for upcoming winter holidays and I was not only listening to people, but also brought my thoughts. As a result they decided to try and to use my offers and took my opinion into account.

ОтветитьУдалитьThis is a great challenge. It is hard to express your opinions with people you have never worked with, because you cannot predict what they will say. I am glad they took your opinion and thoughts into consideration. Some grammatical help to make your sentences more natural:

2. We were discussing how we should prepare for the upcoming winter holidays.
3. Not only did I listen to what members of the group were saying, but I also expressed my thoughts as well.
4. It felt good that the group took my opinion into consideration.
*I would not recommend using "as a result". It is very robotic and is normally used for research papers or something with science. Good job :)
